Submit Your Question to Chutzpod
The next version of the Chutzpod podcast will have a primary focus on providing advice through a Jewish lens. It will be hosted by Rabbi Shira Stutman and non-rabbi Hanna Rosin, formerly co-host of Invisibilia, but the stars will be all of you. We want to hear about any problems you are wrestling with, big or small: how irritated you were when someone brought an emotional support dog on a plane, and how guilty you felt afterwards. You want to be supportive, but you really don’t like your dad’s new boyfriend. Your roommate is irritating, but obviously troubled. The questions don’t have to be Jewish, and neither do you. But we will aim to show you how Jewish texts help you work your way through them.
Please fill in the form below to submit your question with as much detail as you can. For us, the more detail the better. Tell it to us as a story, the way you would at a dinner party. Describe the people you are talking about. We will obscure names and places, but we want to really understand what’s at stake. You may keep your question anonymous if you feel safer doing so, but we welcome your active participation in getting to the bottom of your concerns. The more information we have about the context and background of your question, the better we are able to address it.
We are happy to take questions in written form. However, because this is a podcast we also want voice memos. If you agree, we may play portions of the memo on the air. And if you are really open and game, we will call you to run our resolution by you and record your reactions.
